Miscellaneous Notes #2

Think about your life, really.

Can't you see it?

The perfect goodness of it all?

That it all lines up the way it's supposed to.

All the lessons,

And all the growth,

It's all there.

You just have to take a step back and acknowledge it.

Things unfold in a way that serves your highest good;

You just have to grasp the lesson.

Follow the current,

You'll be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

You might find yourself along the way, too.

To be free is to let go of control,

To just be.

Control is freedom's worst enemy.

I meditate to remind myself of that every day

Because we will forget,

But I make the conscious choice to remember,

And work towards going beyond, and making that my lived truth.

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

People try so hard to understand something that can never be completely understood.

Life is best lived when you let go of that method of control,

And accept that there are things that we can't control and can't understand,

And let go.

Embrace faith and live fully in the present,

Maybe then you can find "happiness"

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

No is such a beautiful word.

A universal message so simple,

Found in every language known to man.

Ironically, what that word means is one of the first agreements we made with each other.

· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·

There is a way to live where you can use your energy more conservatively,

In the wisest way.

Let go, and use your energy for adjusting to the current,

Not fighting against it.

Little nudges are all it takes.

Some nudges might be scary, but we must also let go of that fear and trust

You see, suffering arises from the attachments and aversions we attach to change.

It is the rejection of change.

When we see suffering and fear for what it is, and embrace the beauty in all the changes, without expectations,

That's all it becomes

Change.

Once you follow the current, living will feel so effortless.

Fighting against the current drains us,

Spiritually and energetically.
